Hi Wardy, Thanks for that,  :)

I cannot find the light kit on the Two Wests and Elliott website so I ordered a catalogue.

I wonder if I hook two together can I make a solar powered water boiler for coffee?

The possibilities are ridiculous  ;D

My tool shed is always dark because of its long thin shape and small door, and its stuffed full of ... stuff ;D

Thanks Columbus. I have just ordered one on-line.  Also found a battery tester which I have been looking for. All reduced.  They have a sale on.  I have bought from Maplins before and know their stuff is O.K.  Thanks again.

Columbus  help please .  My solar light has arrived.  Wonderful service.  Do I unsrew the light to put the batteries in. Not very mechanically minded.  Usually have to wait for my son to call.

I just got the best Christmas pressie ever - a wind up radio with solar panel on top!  (My lottie does not have electricity, by the way!).  In average sunlight, it'll even run without winding.  I won't have to sit in the car to listen to GQT any more!!!

Yippee!!!

Thanks to my brother- and sister-in-law for that!

Loved the Maplan cat. Anyone know of a site where I can get hold of bandsaw blades for my Burgess TK5 saw? Old model but I use it a lot but can't find blades here in Belgium.

in my wellies

Hi kenkew, we had good service from http://www.chainsawspecialists.co.uk/
I'm not sure if they do bandsaws as well as I'm not too sure what a bandsaw is :D

Hi Maggie, I am sorry

I don`t know because I can`t afford one until pay day. I was planning on asking you if you thought it was ok.  :D

Their page says "The light is fixed to the desired location with two screws (fittings included) and uses a pull cord for on/off operation"

So that will explain two holes. From the pictures it looks as if the batteries go in the black box so if it doesn`t snap open it may have a screw cover.

If you haven`t got it sorted you might try emailing them. They do respond.

Wardy - My two wests catalogue came but I still can`t find the one they have.

I had thought in the past about re-engineering outdoor solar lights but they tend to be expensive and I`m told not very bright.

I have a wind up radio for the allotment too.

Maggie, I will post on this thread if I find out anything.
Kenkew, I did a yahoo search but didn`t find the right company just one who makes keys.

My mistake; It's a Burgess BK2! Same blade as a BK3 and a BBS mkII.
Waiting for a reply from Ebay.

The catalogue they sent me just has cloches on the back. I don`t see it :(

Wardy: Aren't you also paying postage to Europe? (If you have an underground inlet, please let me know)

kenkew

Sorry Wardy, getting you mixed up with Tulip who's in Holland.
