MutantHobbit

Hi all, well... seeing as it's New Year's Eve and all, I thought the world might be ready to see me in all my glory in a skirt.  Er, a Kilt, sorry. ;)  Never tell a Scotsman he's wearing a skirt with a handbag dangling in front of his goolies! ;D

Well, after being fortified with a wee dram of whiskey or two, here's me in a kilt with my Hearing Dog, Bingley

Drum roll please!

Dave + Bingley

P.S.  In case you don't know what a Hearing Dog is, follow this link.
Sheldon, Birmingham.  I've put the pin on Google Earth where my shed is, in the allotments.  It's in an area with a satellite photo which is cool!  You can't miss it, there's a bl**dy great big Airport next door!

It might be helpful, if I'd have put the link in...  It must've been the whiskey I've been drinking, hic! ;) ;D

Here's the Link for Hearing Dogs for Deaf People.

Knowing how certain individual's, minds work, who shall remain nameless,  I hasten to add that the Dogs in question are the four legged kind, not the two legged kind!

<Ducks behind the wall quickly>  I used that joke years ago!  Very painful it was too! :o

Dave. That is a super photo. Thanks for sharing. I will look at the link tomorrow, I am very interested but tonight my eyesight isnt too good. No man it wasn't the whiskey it was the brandy ;D Happy New Year.

Derekthefox

Val

;D  Thanks Pat and Lorna, my daughter looks like her dad, thank goodness, except she's the pretty version ;D..I hate having my photo taken, I'm scared I'll break the camera :(..still we can't stay young and beautiful forever...another year and a month and its pension day.. ::)

Dave a brilliant photo, love the dog.

What a fine figure of manhood you are Dave.  Great photo :D

A lady from our dog training class used to come with her hearing dog.  She also went all over the place demonstrating the skills of the dogs.  Went to one of her talks once, really interesting and was amazed at all the different tasks the dogs can undertake :)
Happy gardening all...........Pat

DAVE Have looked  at the site which you put a link for.. Amazing how these dogs can be trained, and  the fact that a lot of the dogs are rescue dogs. So a person and a dog get a better quality of life. Looking at the site it appears that all breeds of dogs can be trained. Amazing.

VAL Never mind pension age, like I told Lottie a while ago Life begins at 40/50/60 and for me 70!! Beauty comes from within and did you know I am only 21,I have  just got a vivid imagination ;D ;D who cares my kids love me (like you 4 of them)

Val

Oh lovely Lorna, you certainly know how to cheer a person up, yes my imagination goes a bit wild now and again but when you reach a certain age its allowed to ;)
