I have a modern aluminium GH with built in guttering. It came with a down pipe kit for each gutter, to which I have had bottles or buckets on the end of to collect the rainwater. However i now want to rig up a waterbutt for the greenhouse and need to have all the gutters running into one downpipe. I have worked out how to do it and what I want to do it, but cannot find anywhere that sells piping and connectors to fit greenhouse guttering. One supplier who does it, only sells it with its greenhouses but not seperatley (Two Wests).

I have looked at the websites of the main greenhouse suppliers but have drawn a blank. Does anyone know of a firm (preferably on the web) which supplies the kind of thing i need?

Thanks

hmmmm, just looked out of interest at the Twowest site and they have this: http://www.twowests.co.uk/TwoWestsSite/product/OGTDP.htm

This company do a rainwater kit:  http://www.cmsgardens.co.uk/accessory.htm

These also do: http://www.gardensite.org.uk/greenhouses/freestanding/elite-accessories.php

These not what you are looking for??

Thanks for for your help there EJ

However The basic kits are not really what i am after, as i have these already!

What I am really after basicaly are 'spare parts' so that I can modify what i have.
One gutter cannot justify having a dedicated waterbutt attached to it (its only a small greenhouse), so What i want to do is to fix a pipe along the back end of the greenhouse to link the gutters together. I can then have one downpipe running into a waterbutt.

Unfortunately the downpipe kits i have do not allow me to do this (hence the need for extra parts) I cannot believe that the parts are not available somewhere to allow people to do this. In the Two Wests catalogue there is a section which tells you when ordering a greenhouse from them you can choose 1 or 2 outlet rainwater kits. i presume that the 1 outlet kit does what i am looking to do (2 gutters into 1 downpipe).

EDIT: Have found single outlet kits (ie 1 downpipe)in Two Wests caralogue, but they cost £25! (doubles - 2 downpipes are £20). Bit pricey when you have most of the bits already!

Do you not have room for one water butt per downpipe then? It sounds like that might be a cheaper/simpler option.

Not really Aqui. Having to rejig some planting by the Gh to fit one in as it is. The GH is kind of shoehorned into the fruit patch. Plus the fact I only have the one waterbutt to fix up to it in the first place. The £25 kit might just prove cheaper than getting another waterbutt! (unless I set up a homemade one that is) We have to pay full whack for butts down this way, our local water co. doesnt have a cheap waterbutt scheme (shame on them i say).

Just to let you know i have now sorted out my little problem,

I decided to buy a kit to divert rainwater from the guters into one downpipe and hence into a waterbutt. In the end it proved the best option.

Thanks to all for replies and help.
