I signed it a few days ago.

I must say I'm a bit sceptical about the whole thing. But if it's true it defies belief...

My first thought on that was that it must be b******s, but it seems to be linkable from the RSPCA main page and everything....

Perhaps this is a sad reflection on me, but I am not shocked to see this sort of behaviour. Count me in too though.

Thank you soooo much everyone!!! I have already posted it on every site I can think of and e.mailed it to friends. Let's hope enough people sign the petition to get this totally unacceptable practice stopped ASAP.

82 of my friends and family have sihned up and they have passed it on to all there contacts too. :)

Not that I don't feel sorry for the poor little fluffy animals, but why are the rspca only concerned about them.  Shark baiting is bad news for the sharks as well, and with the depleting numbers of Great Whites and other varieties it makes me wonder about the double standards here.

However I have signed this and hope that in return some of you will visit www.sharktrust.org to see the other side.

Bearing in mind the way dogs for humans to eat are treated,  this does not surprise me at all.  However, I mirror Maddy's and to some extent Derek's thoughts that this might be shocking and appalling but lets not forget the other creatures and humans themselves suffering all around the world at our hands.  Whether that be chinese prisoners being treated as animals, whaling (for the sake of science, yeah right), or our own woodland creatures....
