I have been clearing my new plot and have noticed that something is digging small holes in the ground ??? Its not rabbits because theres no droppings, I dont think its cats because there not leaving anything behind either! Could it be a fox and could I train it to dig the rest of the plot for me ;D

I would have thought small holes are likely to be squirrels. They bury nuts of all sorts all over the place. A fox would dig bigger holes a bit more like a dog is likely to.

Is it birds?   I know where i dug and planted my onions and around others there are lots of small holes about 1 to 2" across where the birds have been rooting around
Neil (The Young Ones) once said "You plant the seed, the seed grows, you harvest the seed....You plant the seed....."   if only it was that simple!!!

For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else.
