What a beauty - I also love the eyes :)
Happy gardening all...........Pat

BAGGY

Who's Claude - have I missed something ?
By the way for those who are aware of the Merlin adoption story, we weighed him last night.  He is now 5 1/2 kilos and has grown all his fur back on his belly so he looks like a posh mog now.  Are we over feeding him or is he just happy since he moved in ?
Get with the beat Baggy

Merlins Mum

I was wondering about Claude, so I'm glad you asked Baggy. ;)

So your Merlin is 5 1/2 kilos, that means I'll have to weigh my Merlin to see what he is.  I wouldn't have said it was too much as he looks quite a long cat.  Just done a quick conversion,  12lbs, nah that sounds OK to me :)

MM

Merlins Mum

Jolly glad I didn't say your Merlin was on the heavy side Baggy. ;D  I've just weighed mine and he's 6 1/2 kilos. :o  But I think he might be older than your Merlin, he's about 6 or 7 we think.

Here are Shelley and Tiger 'helping' in the garden today.  Tiger is worn out from dead-heading and Shelley thinks the catnip needs a trim.   ;)

Oh Georgie bless them both.
Toby-dog always find trimming trees and hedges exhausting, obviously supervising is more tiring than actually doing the job  :)

Merlin wants you to know that catmint always needs trimming but he has a wicked mum who covers his plant with an upside down hanging basket  :(

It's true, I admit it, but if I didn't there would be no catmint, it would be trimmed to ground level, so the basket protects it from over zealous paws.  Mind you it never flowers, just doesn't get the change. ::)

MM

ps - when is Tiger coming to stay  ;D

Georgie

Hi MM and LOL!  I have four pots of cat mint so I rotate them re covering to give them a chance to grow.   :)

Tiger will come to stay as soon as we can sort out the exchange visit with Merlin.   ;D

Oh, and Fletcher felt left out so I've just taken this snap of him.  I think he looks more like a kitten than a cat of 17 but I'm biased!

Merlins Mum

More like 17 months than 17 years.
Oh I do so love cats.  :)

I think I will have to do that with the catmint but where to hide it while it recovers?

MM

Georgie

Behind the pyrocantha? ;)

I helped out on the Cats Protection stall at our local town show for a couple of hours yesterday.  Met some lovely volunteers, found one new foster carer, a new member and took about £70 whilst I was there.  Not bad for a rather wet day.  It was fun and I will certainly help out again in the future.   ;D

Well done you  :)
Have you got a Cats Protection re homing centre near you?  And did your friends like their adopted cat prezzies?

MM

Georgie

Hi MM   :)

Our local branch of the CP has a homing officer, I'm not sure if we have a centre, as such.  Unfortunately all the birthday gals have not been able to meet up to swap gifts because one has been wisked away for a surprise holiday by her OH.  So we're hoping to have a meal in early October now.

Here's a joke of sorts, just uttered by my OH.  He asked me if I knew that the CP shop down the road had been taken over by gangsters.  Knowing there was going to be a dreadful punch line I said oh really?  And he said yes, it's called the Cats Protection Racket.   ::) ::) ::)

Male humour  ::)  not much you can say really!  My OH is no better  :)

Make sure you let us all know when you swop prezzies
