Their, "Long Draw Fork/Rake" looks like my ancient right-angled fork that I used to pull up nettles roots. Now I finish all my digging with it. Its too frail for more than a finishing job but I will miss it when I finally snap it.
This business is a short train trip away from me so maybe I`ll have a day at the seaside and come home with new tools in the spring.

Thanks for posting this info, Col

What a great website Wendy, I hate using a spade but have used a draw hoe as a mattock for ages! This looks as if it will stand up to the treatment a lot better. Thanks for the recommendation
Sarah :D

I used my draw hoe as a mattock and ended up with a very bent handle  :(

I  have managed to break two spades digging the really heavy clay soil here. Mind you, both times I took them back and got replacement free of charge (and they were over 2 years old). ;)

I broke a good quality digging fork on mine - stones mostly in my soil which is not very deep and was very compacted when I took it on.  My fork was also changed no quibble - I posted a message about it - www.keengardener.com
