Ah but I can see what is left of the oil...the slight grey shading down his back. Normally there is nothing but white, unless ofcourse he's been out under the cars or has got a bit dusty...he then has a sort of yellowy tinge!

He is very happy right now...just had a bit of fish. :)

Love the blue flowers Heldi, what are they?

Heldi

Hiya Twospot.  The flowers are Senetti "deep blue".   This is their second flush after I gave them the chop a couple of months ago.  I posted a couple of close up pics a while ago. I've looked and they are now on page 22 of the gallery!

Thanks Heldi, can you tell me a bit more about them please? are they annuals, biennials, perennial? hardy, tender, thugs? in fact anything!

Heldi

In a word...nope!  Actually I've only come across them this year after seeing them in the garden centre earlier in the season.  I'm led to believe that you propagate by cuttings as  seeds aren't available.  I have absolutely no other  knowledge about them.I bought it on the spur of the moment and haven't made any effort to find out anything about the plant.  I have seen them in a great many displays around and about and there are some other colours available, some two tone. Not that I am advocating nicking a cutting here and there ofcourse!

Georgie

Thanks to all your encouragement I had a lovely chat with someone from Cat's Protection last night.  I am now in the process of sponsoring 4 cats  - one for me and three for my friends - and I should get the photos and sponsorship certificates shortly.   ;D

I've also heard that Cats Protection is having a stall at our town show next month and I've volunteered to do a stint.  So this might be the start of getting back into community work which I gave up when I had my daughter.  Feels good.   :)

Glad we could help. Actually I've learnt something as I didn't know you could sponsor a cat through Cats Protection.
I foster a couple of elephants, a tiger and 2 snow leopards all through Care for the Wild, perhaps I should add a moggie to that list  :)
Anyway I hope you are going to show us all your puddie tat when you get the photo  :)

Well done Georgie - I'm really pleased for you :)  I'm sure your friends will be thrilled with their sponsored friends.    It's funny how one good thing can lead to another - hope you enjoy your stint on the stall and make loads of money :)
Happy gardening all...........Pat

Georgie

Thanks once again, MM and GG.  Will try and post a pic, MM, and if we can get enough volunteers for the stall I'll let you all know how it goes.  :D
