Allotments 4 All

I blame the school holidays and the rain!  Haven't been to the plot since Monday, but tonite the kids decided they wanted to go check out the pumpkins, so we went.  These are pretty big really, but they will make great soup, and maybe chutney, and some patties, and the neighbours will be hiding again!



And a few more gherkins.  Have enough to fill another jar now so will get them salted and pickled over the weekend - must remember to pass by the plot and pick some dill!

Please. I don't want to see any more courgettes - they're taking over  my kitchen!

E.j. i got some tiny fruits on my bosnian courgette or squash,they are bottle shaped.

I don't have courgettes I have Zeppelins  :o :o :o 

I checked today Ruud and yup, the same.  Exciting isn't it!

My bosnian neighbour said today to be careful with them,they can be exsplosive.Must be bosnian humor.
