Some pretties.

Campanula, a gift from the wonderful Deeds.  It seems to be doing okay in the damp shade by the pond.

Hibiscus 'bluebird'.  My darling purchased 3 little hibiscus plants 2 years ago on ebay and they are growing into huge stunning specimens!

My greenhouse jungle!  Not for the easily shocked!  ;D

Inula.  I just love this scruffy daisy!

The medlar tree, considering it is well pruned every year, is smothered in fruit this year!  Get out that preserving pan!

Fuschia from my grandad in Devons garden.  I took loads of cuttings, and this is the only one that I seem to have everywhere!  Not a complaint though.

Now I know crocosmia's aren't to everyones likings (Deeds  ;D :o ;D) but I just love them!  That blast of orange is so refreshing.  I have 3 different varieties, this is the first to do it's stuff.

My hydrangea with a buddy having a drink!

I agree Heidi.  Those daisies are great.  Do they need full sun?   I also love the campanula.  ONe of my favourite flowers and these have a great pastel colour as if they've been gently painted with watercolours - do you know what variety it is?
Neil (The Young Ones) once said "You plant the seed, the seed grows, you harvest the seed....You plant the seed....."   if only it was that simple!!!

EJ whenever I see photos of your garden I realize how dull and ordinary my garden is. Never mind I am determind to do better next year, have already started this year. Thank you so much for sharing. Lorna.

Don't be daft Lorna!  When I look at everyone elses pics, I think that about my garden!  The wonder of this site and the gallery is that we all post different pics of what we like to grow or have inherited in our plot, so we are all filling each others heads with ideas for 'next year'.  The thing that worries me is, we are all planning to cram so much more into our gardens and allotments, there will be no room left for us to sit and stare!!  ;D

Lovely garden plants EJ  :)  I love crocosmia despite the recent trend to hate me.  Probly why I like em  ;D  I have the common or garden orange ones but they makes your eyes pop out don't they?  My mate gave me a red one (LuciferI think) and it's completely different.  I want a yellow one now to complete my collection.  Campanula looks lovely and very unusual  :)

That big shaggy daisy you have well I have one but I don't know where it came from.  Maybe a bird dropped it. That's the wonder of gardening  ;D

And as for standing and staring ... well, I was talking to a squirrel again today.  Yellow van parked outside  :(
I came, I saw, I composted
