Allotments 4 All

I  am a newbie this month to the site and also very new to chat rooms but I learned that the majority of people are very friendly and welcoming and paticulary so on the chat site.As I understand it different parts of this board are used for various things such as the swops .tips news and of course the section we are on now at this moment we are not posting just about gardening at the moment are we, nor were we when we had penguin lob or happiness and pet hates the point i am making is this site is used in lots of ways and thats what makes it different from the rest and I certainly would'nt want it changed  and am prety sure many others would not either . We all have our personal problems and ill health but for me personally when I think of someone like merv on bowing out put it things in perspective really and makes you realise how precious life is . Too bloody short to waste whinging.and  just for the record richard it might help if you practised some social skills before attempting to chat it really is not very polite to come on to chat and say that the people there are not your type of chat or to rudely type in yawn am bored when people try to chat to you  if chat not to your liking try again another time when someone different might be there but bear in mind you can't pick and choose who uses chat or what subject of chat is freedom of choice being the operative words. here
