Hi Plocket,  :D

I pruned it very very lightly as it said on the label.   It is growing in a large pot and I wondered if maybe the roots need more room, although they are protected  by shells??? ???  Or maybe, as you say, the plant needs a feed.

Will give it some feed tonight and keep fingers crossed.  Thanks for your help! ;D :D ;)
Enjoy today to the full.  You are not sure of a tomorrow.

What beautiful photos of your clematis Plocket.  I too love the Wesselton, how unusual, haven't seen that one before.  Excuse me for using your thread, but thought I would add a few more varieties that I have in my garden.
