Great pics, Glyn, well done for capturing so many "live" fireworks on camera!  Where did you go for these fireworks & to celebrate?

Hi Glyn, was that an SLR or a DIGI you took those brilliant photos with, if the latter which setting did you use?.  Was that a park display or a goverment display either way rather impressive. :) :)

Cheers all. Rosebud, they were taken with a digital camera set on auto, absolute trial and error, and lots of error, about 50 shots thrown away cos I didn't prepare, and should have used a tripod.

It being Canada day like any other day......sure we paid for the fireworks, but the city council say they did?
Anyway, a wonderful day it was.

;D ;D ;D ;D

Glyn   Just had Canadian visitors leave my B and B.  They had no cash and me with no credit card machine so they have to pay me later.  Do you think I'll ever see em again.

Yours in penury Wardy  ;D

PS  Loved your fireworks display.  We have one in our town in October and people come from miles around.  Aaaaagh oooooooooh  ;D
I came, I saw, I composted

QuoteThey had no cash and me with no credit card machine
Funny you should mention that Wardy. Last week a 16 yr old got me to cut his hair then for payment produced a visa card. I too, have no credit card machine. So off he went to nearest ATM machine telling me he'd be straight back with the cash. Haven't seen the little B**tard since. In future will ask to see the visa card, and take down their name. But generally Canadians are for the best part honest, so I hope you get your money?
By the way. I was telling this incident to a Police Officer customer of mine and he said. " If ever I saw the B**tard again, I should take him down a dark alley"
He never said what to do when I got him there?
"Nudge Nudge Wink Wink"
