Discovered it researching Gods for work - now use it to name out pets - hence the new cat being called Danu, and the Guinea Pigs being called Coco, Accla and Quilla.

Dare I ask.....? Those gods represent what exactly? Think I over estimated my mum's sense of humour........LOL  Lottie  ;D

Also known as ANU

DANU: Celtic Goddess of Wind, Wisdom and Fertility.

More importantly, she's the Irish Mother Goddess who brought into being the TUATHA-DE-DANANN, her own chosen people who originally ruled Ireland.

As a Mother Goddess, she's reknowned for suckling Godlets. There are still two hills in County Kerry still known as the 'Paps of DANU'.

You may have heard of Danny Boy, but she is the original Danu girl. She's also the mother and daughter of DAGDA, which is quite a neat trick.

COCOMAMA: Warning: She is not the Goddess of Chocolate!

In fact, she was a flirty female who was cut in half by jealous lovers and subsequently transformed into the world's first cocaine plant. Men who managed to satisify their woman's sexual needs were rewarded with a munch on the coca leaves afterwards. From which springs the tradition of having a cigarette after sex.

COCOMAMA became the Goddess of Health and Happiness, as the ancient Peruvians believed that chewing coca leaves was extremely good for you. Which just shows how wrong you can be. Go for chocolate every time.

Incan Mythology : MAMA-QUILLA
Also known as QUILLA

MAMA-QUILLA: Moon Goddess and wife of Sun God INTI.

Her face is like a full moon, which may or may not be a good thing. Mostly interested in women's welfare, calendars and feasts.

ACCLA: The ACCLA were INTI's girls, virgins specially chosen to keep the sacred fires burning. In emergency situations they were only too happy to let themselves be thrown on the fire.

When not being sacrificed they brewed the beer and did a little concubining for the emperor.
