We eat the tops, I steam them, and a grind of S & P and sometimes nutmeg.  Or steam and drizzle with a flavoured olive oil. Use like spinach..........  DP

Have never tried.  Are they really worth the energy DP?  I would have thought them to be bitter....

BAGGY

We ate them last year stir fried in garli olive oil and squeezed with lemon.  Best served warm (not hot) with bread to mop up the juice.

Just been watching Saturday kitchen as it's too wet to go out and play.  Anthony Worrall Thompson did 2 lovely broad bean recipes - broad beans with dill made with the pods and all

Raymond Blanc cooks broad bean tops, and pea flowers.  Stir fried I think.  I'm going to have a go :)
