Mine is at Saltwell, in Gateshead, Tyne & Wear. I've only had it for about 30 years, so I am still tidying it up. ;D ::)

Just read through this WHOLE thread, and there's only me and plottie in Preston - surely not!  Come on, anyone else near Preston?
:)

I'm in Penwortham, Valley Road, to be precise!  You'll recognise me by the big blue tarpaulin and lots of grass!
Thank you to all who donated to the Moonlight Half Marathon Walk in aid of St Catherine's Hospice - my mum and I raised just over £300!!!    ............     Thanks!  :-)

Hi,Neil the newbie here  ;D

mine is in Glue Lane,Loscoe,Derbyshire  :)
You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose

I am saddened, although not entirely shocked to find nobody else on the Kings Lynn sites. There are so many empty here. Also, those that do have them close their 7 foot gates and work quietly, really quite unsociable. There is no committee or association of any type, with just two or three friendly old hands (myself included) who are willing to help the newbies.

Although, saying that, I gave some newbies some beautiful strawberry plants, then, over night they came and robbed my shed! How rude! I hasten to add I got it all back, as I went down to their plot, and low and behold, there was all my stuff!!! GRRR!

Not allowed to have a shed here in Horley, low cupboard is ok but sitting on chair in it is ok if only 2ft tall......
All friendly people though.

First post here, so be kind....
I've not had the stamina to read through all 24 pages of this thread, but my half allotment is in Chester. I'm thinking of taking on a second on the same site, as I've got far too many seeds to fit into just half an allotment.

My name is HappyMouffetard and I'm a seed buying addict  :-[

Andy H

Welcome seed adict!!!

It is easy to get too many seeds and then another plot then another plot!!!!

Have fun, nothing else matters!

Hi, I'm one of those peole who can't fit any more veggies in their garden and so have decided to apply for a half plot.   I have seen both West Wickham and Bourne Vale allotments and was wondering if anyone knows anything about either which would  help me decide which to go for?
