I like Suffolk herbs, The Organic Gardening Catalogue, Mr Fothergills, Kings and Marshalls and Brown's

I like Fothergills as it tells you how many seeds you get.  Most seed companies offer no quibble guarantees

I suppose it all depends on what you're looking for.  If it's wierd and wonderful I like Chilterns

Like wardy's ideas. And - support the small British companies.

Question - have you ever had a bad seed from anyone??

After sales service - like Dobies,Marshalls etc - speak to the chap who grows the things.

I dealt with 2 large UK companies and they gave me a voucher for the seeds they didn't supply. All very well, but it means I have to go back to them to buy before I can use the voucher. I paid with a UK cheque, why couldn't I have my 'change' the same way?

Still no sign of strawberries from T&M - must go look for invoice or something with order number.

Am very happy with Tuckers and Org. Gardening Cat.

i use kings, mr fothergills and the organic gardening catalogue. all reasonable prices, never had any problems, prompt service. lots of interesting varieties.

Mrs Ava

Tuckers & Marshalls, and the Garlic farm for my garlics and shallots.

Then of course all of the kind and generous folk who frequent this site.  I have received, either as gifts or swaps masses and masses of wonderful seeds, lots of really unusual things, and live plants!

Glad for the info re Tuckers who I've not heard of. Will go and order their catalogue now to add to my growing collection  :)

Another vote for the organic gardening catalogue.  I also like Vida Verde (I think they're now called the real seed company) for slightly different stuff.

Clare.
Anyone for Pumpkin Soup?

Gadfium

I went for Tuckers, Simply Vegetables & the VidaVerde/Real Seed Company.
