ACE

After 12 years working for the local authority she is now going to work for the Alzheimer's Society. Her work in the last few years has really depressed her. She used to work out care packages and get them implemented for all her clients but with all the government cutbacks all she can do nowadays is tell them what they cannot have and take abusive phone calls from the relatives who think it is her personally stopping or cutting back the care.

Now she will be in a position to start giving again and organising the dementia teams (which is her speciality) and getting proper care packages to suite the person and families.

Big drinkies tonight are in order, 70 applicants for the job and she beat them all.

Of course I am pleased. She will have to start being extra nice to people. So to help her out I told her she can practise on me.

Well, we already knew that she must have a lot of patience to live with Ace!
Well done to her, as having recently changed jobs myself, I know it is a great tonic!
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Well done to Mrs Ace!  Beating 30 other candidates, good stuff!

Ace, I'm sure you've reminded Mrs Ace that a whole new wardrobe of outfits is required for the new job?
