Thank you very much everybody for your congratulations and good wishes (and for fellow-bi-linguals - recht herzlichen Dank)!

I had a lovely day, OH cooked.  I got a new book.  Bill Best's 'Saving seeds, preserving taste' and a new cloche.  Then I made cakes, because yesterday MIL, the children and partners (and dog) all came for a super 'collective birthday party'.  because within a fortnight 3 of us have a birthday.  It was really lovely to have everybody here again and hear about their lives and their progress.  I had an extra present from my daughter (unintentionally, but lovely), when she said: could you give me a cutting of your honeysuckle please and later when she tasted my Amish Snap peas and saw the broadies, she asked for seeds!  This is the girl who never wanted anything to do with gardening when she was a kid.

Sorry just had to share with you.  Thank you all for making the day more special
