That's good -do you get to join the shed owning fraternity now ;D

Pleased to hear you have got the plot you want.

I am still very pleased with my private site, and hope more farmers can be pursuaded to give it a go.  There have been no council plots here for more than thirty years.

Sadly no sheds or Greenhouses allowed :'(

There is a communal shed for tools.I do not understand why they have a thing about sheds around here  ???

I too hope more Farmers create Allotment space.

Having a plot so close to home is a bonus though.I have walked past it so many times with the dogs thinking my turn would be a long way away.100 people behind me on the waiting list.

Maybe I can train my dogs to pull a little cart along with my tools on it LOL   ;D

Congratulations on getting your plot.  One lady who comes to my site as a trailer attached to her bike, works a treat.  Hope it stops raining so you can make a start  ;D ;D

Probably because more and more people are building ridiculously large ones, some of the ones on my allotment are like small bungalows with toilets, kitchens, unauthorised connections to the water supply for their own taps.
A shared shed I guess would be more secure.

I think the reason a lot of sites ban sheds is the state of a lot of the edifices on older sites.... I had reason to go to one of the big sites in Swindon a few days ago adn my word there were some horrific examples of 80-year old patched horros.... OK it's very trad to have something that looks like it'#s only held up by the prayers of the woodworm but it doesn't look all that good to the uninitiated...

Congratulations, especially for the bit out the back, I garden at home and it's lovely to be able to nip out in my slippers for a few mint leaves or a bit of rocket.

I do own a Kath Kidson mug, unused due to it being rather lovely.

Never realised until today that I can pull my car up right alongside my Allotment....so I have a portable shed.

Managed to get a bit done between the showers...hopping in and out the car when it became torrential.
