apart from second to top, thriving, in RHS north west in bloom, we also got a nice surprise today.
Damian came to present us with our Wigan in Bloom plaque today and also the award for Best Community Allotment  sponsored by Bulldog tools. We were gobsmacked, didn't even know we'd been nominated  ;D ;D
Can't get a picture of the silver salver but we got one of them, too, we need an award cabinet now, dead chuffed  ;D

Well done to you all. I won £60 in local show for my allotment, it will buy all my compost and grow bags next year.It is open to all, you can entry your house garden, hanging basket, poems,jam making just a few. Looking forward to it next year. Ann
