Walsall Rd Open Day

We are having our open day at Walsall Rd allotments on Saturday 20th August.the gates will be open at 12'oclock midday. Proceeds to charity as is normal with the August open day. We hope to see some of you there if you can make it.

I really enjoyed coming last year.  I found the Walsall Rd Allotments very inspirational.  It particularly inspired me to source vast amounts of biomatter.  I just reallised that I had not been adding anywhere near enough.

Unfortunately the wrong weekend for me, so I will have to be there in thought rather than in body,

I suppose you could go to Anglesey via Walsall depends on where you start.  There used to be a sign somewhere in Sussex which said Hastings via North Pole so many thousand miles.

I suppose what I liked about it is there is no right way of things being done.  There are a huge variety of methods, of plants, of flowers and veg and other crops.  Just an amazing variety. 

Hoping to rearrange things so might be able to come.
