When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

betula

LOL I promise you it was not Cherie but you are correct, she does like EBay  ;D

It has made me much neater and quicker than normal though, the parcel was wrapped and the address written with much greater care  ;D

It is all fun though int it  ;D

Two nice things happened last night..........had my celeb customer and then had a lovely email from someone I gave a small donation to last year to buy a super duper wheelchair for their little lad. They are having a party for all those who helped get the chair.Sadly can't go as it is in Scotland but what a lovely thought, life can be fun sometimes LOL ;D

Having a nice day like that helps to make up for the crap ones doesn't it.

If you have Radley bags to rehome, I can provide a comfortable lifestyle as well as two friends...

In my opinion the celeb is lucky to have come across you :) What a lovely thing to be able to contribute towards a chair...makes a real impact on the folk receiving them :)

Some members of A4A contributed as did many others.

Anne a member on here told us about him,Anne if you are reading this I am presuming you are going to the party..........you may have my slice of cake LOL

Meanwhile......hands off me Radleys.

Jeannine

Nobody knows what a Radley is over here, folks think I just have funny bags, especially the pictorial ones. I sometimes think I might sell the lot, if I pop off they will end up in the garbage or charity store.LOL I love the pink one with the Scottie who has a piece ff fabric in his mouth and a nearby antique chair with a hole in it,my favourite.. but folks here think they are cheap!! Then I have to admit |I love my Umbrella , walk in the rain one, that is definatley my favourite, then my penguins..oh for sure my favourite!!!  Oh eck, I am  off to look on e bay !!

Lovely story about the wee boy and how special about the party, it would be great if someone could go.

Well done on the ebay sale, Den!

Yes I'm hoping to go along to Louis's celebration on Sunday pm. If you follow Den's link you can get a glimpse of how much he's enjoying his new wheelchair. I'll try to remember to take some photos.

I think it's lovely that Louis's family have followed up the fund-raising with all the emails, photos and the event on Sunday.  Louis looks like a really happy little boy.
