Problem is my lenses are made from co op milk bottles and also diagnosed with cataracts but I had the misfortunte to sneeze a couple of months ago and detached the retina.  Had that fixed but waiting for the gas pumped into eye to disperse.  Trouble is still have cataracts and vision is getting worse.  Will have to consider getting a labrador and white stick.

Well I am 41 and I am terribly short sighted - I have to go specially slim lenses otherwise look like i have milk bottles... However last year or so, I find I have to take my glasses OFF to do close work - in fact my myopia is correcting itself! I will need bifocals/varifocals but last time I asked the optician, she said "Does it annoy you to take off your glasses now and then or look over them?" I replied no and she said "Well when it gets on your bloody nerves, come back and see me!"  ;D ;D ;D Love my optician, she is a Dubliner, the other patients never understand why she suddenly starts yelling English in the waiting room after seeing me.   ;D

It's not yet on my bloody nerves so I just look under my glasses to get splinters out or sew buttons!!!
