Sooo happy for Grandad, where did they meet?

Squash64

They seem quite serious about each other so maybe I'll call her Grandma.  They met when I shoved her into the car next to Grandad  ;D, that's why he's looking a bit shocked.

Seriously, when I finished her I left her sitting on a chair in the dining room.  Colin and I were not at home this morning when our son in law called round.  He let himself in, thinking that the house was empty and then nearly had a heart attack when he saw this 'woman' sitting at the table!

It's those blue eyes!!

And her dress taste is rather stylish... I think she may be getting Grandad to smarten up his image! ;)

I really don't think we need an answer to that one Saddad  :D

ACE

Arranged marriages will  be against the law soon. Poor old duffer, he does not look very impressed. I will be meeting him soon so I will give him some  tips on forming a perfect relationship, Ace's style.

Better let them sleep in seperate sheds for a while. I need him fresh as a daisy each morning, if he is going to work for me. Mind you he ain't going to get very far doing his courting in a Micra. ;D

antipodes

 ;D ;D ;D ;D
Double LOL. They make a very handsome couple!

I SSSOOOOO want to make one of these, in fact I have a stack of old clothes at home too, I think this weekend I will get out the sewing machine!  I have a good excuse, hubby wants some trousers taking up, I will do some scarecrowing at the same time!

2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

Be gentle with him Ace, he's led a very sheltered life.

Since the word got round that I make scarecrows I get lots of things given to me but the most useful are old duvets.  They are perfect for stuffing the body with.  Pillow filling is good for the heads.

The best things for the 'body' are boiler suits, even the thin papery kind are good.  Once the scarecrow is dressed the boiler suit doesn't show but it keeps the body together.

Good luck with yours, don't forget to post a photo!
