Lovely photos, your poppies are way ahead of ours, they're only just forming buds  ;D

Lovely photos and the poppies are wonderful .How do you stop the poppies from falling over, do you have to stake them, I have this trouble every year.

Love poppies! This year I have the orange Californian ones all over the place (self seeded from a small shrub last year!).
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com

We don`t stake them, they are quite hard stalks so they dont fall over but heavy rain and wind will blow the petals away! Could do with some rain though!

Millions of seeds in the heads when they dry!
