Got mine and the Sarpo Mira on Tuesday.  Shared the Blue Danube ones with a friend and planted the rest, now need to find room for the Sarpo Mira.  Will give some to the school group to plant in a currently unallocated space on their plot and think I may have to use the rest as a second crop when I take my first earlies up

I don't think T&M will make a loss on selling these at this low price, they will have fulfilled all full price orders and what's left they have reduced.  The alternative for any supplier on items they don't sell is to dump - and then they have to pay to do that!  (We used to get surplus eggs free at our allotments, the producer had a contract to supply a certain regular amount to a large supermarket, anything over he wasn't allowed to sell elsewhere so had to pay to dump them - until he found us!)

Mine arrived 20 tubers of Blue Danube and 30 of the Sarpo Mira! Really chuffed. All planted now.

I thought I'd been "done" as they do not look Blue at all but a quick wash under the tap! :-[

Is it worth chitting them or should I just bung them in at this late stage?

I had the same thoughts when mine arrived - I decided to put them in ??

Got mine yesterday.
I too thought not very blue.  Never thought of washing them.  Thanks PKL.
Putting them in as soon as rain permits.  It will be interesting to see how they do.

These did brilliantly for us last year! Good crop and stored very well. Made nice mash and chips...

Have you seen much progress with these - I put mine in around a month ago and only one has broken through above earth.

How are yours doing? Mine are flowering madly despite being in a poo patch and competing with phacelia and various weeds. hope they are as good underneath as on top!
