Hi all I am back, arrived yesterday afternoon, after spending new years eve (Australian time) in the airport - flight was 0.45.

Had an absolutely wonderful time, as some of you may have seen from the photos that I posted when I had a few spare minutes.

Saw all the family and friends, drank some wine, ate loads of lovely food, drank some wine, got taken on holiday to a gorgeous national park by my Aunt (where we drank some wine as well as did some walking), visited waterfalls and beaches, drank some MORE wine, saw loads of wildlife etc.

Highlights were Cradle Mountain National Park, all the raspberries I ate, Russell falls, Christmas day with 11 of the immediate family - Mum, Dad, 3 surviving grandparents, my 3 aunts and their partners, and seeing penguins swim on to a beach after dark to feed their babies.

Felt extremely rough yesterday but managed to sleep from 10.30 ish till 8am this morning, which was great, was expecting 4 or 5am  :( Still have another day to get myself together before I have to go back to work.

Missed my lottie and my plants, but bought back 2 packets of pumpkin seeds (declared etc at customs!) and will probably have spares if anyone wants to give them a go  :)

Happy to see you back on the board, Moggle and I wasn't envious at all that you had sunshine, wine, family, views and trips to die for!!  Sure you are all fit and tanned and ready to get stuck in - weather permitting of course!!
