I hope it is going to be as good for all of you as it is going to be for me. I am walking with no pain for the first time in 8 years, well a few twinges but it is healing fast. I expect 2011 will be my last year of working on show gardens as it is time I gave way to somebody younger, If the Chelsea garden gets a good medal it will be the icing on the cake.

I have a plot of land promised to turn into a few allotments for me and a few friends, so back to real food gardening instead of flowers. OH is on a list for redundancy with all the government cutbacks, but this is a blessing in disguise as we have loads to fit in and work gets in the way at the moment.

We are already on a high after a big family xmas and looking forwards to the spring in a couple of weeks, you lot may have to wait a bit longer than us ;DHAPPY NEW YEAR

Mr Smith

A  Happy New Year to all at A4A and may everyone have a successful growing year, :)
