We've been digging some lovely spuds despite the lack of rain :(
One or two plants just give up and collapse 'not sure what that is but there's good potatoes underneath :)

We dug up three Home Guard plants yesterday which gave us about four meals.  A d**n sight more than what we got from the buckets and containers we had in the polytunnel.

A total disaster! Dug up two plants of earlies today which gave us one very meagre serving. And that's a month later than normal.

A combination of late frosts and no appreciable rain for months. I can't recall a worse year ever.

Like you Jim, Charlotte, but I went for a bag of Exquisa from Tesco. Theyare doing quick good for a trial spud. Dug a few at the weekend and not bad at all.
I may give these bags a go again in a few years time.

Got them back now to put some tread on them

Still waiting but not looking too hopeful- much less growth than usual.
