Am looking for the best deal on 25kg sack of growmore granules the
price in my local Decco wholesale store in Sheffield is a little more than i want to
pay

How much is it?  Aldi are selling 4k boxes for £4.49 all chemical fertilizer has gone up because of the high cost of nitrates

You couldn't make it up!

We sell it for 30p per lb or £16 per bag in our Stores,  but I don't know how heavy the bag is.

I paid £20 for a 25Kg sack from the society "hut". Mainly becasue Im scared of getting FYM....

go to a horticultural distributors or a wholesale warehouse like JTF etc, or an allotment association.

You will not get the best price in a retail outlet.
Nothing is ever as it seems. With appropriate equations I can prove this.

The price of all chemical fertilisers has gone up drastically over the last year or so due to increased gas prices & China's increase in export tax on urea. The wholesale price of growmore is now around £12 per 25kg sack (with bulk discounts available) from most horticultural suppliers.
