well rotted chicken manure

we've been storing all the chook house scrapings in a 'dalek' type composter for 18 months, now the bottom half is lovely and crumbly, what crops would you use it on, it's mixed with straw, chipped paper, etc so should be quite well balanced, could we use it for the cabbages, someone in the kitchen garden uses hers Neat and swears by it  :o
anyway, any advice welcome  ;D

Deffo brassicas Mal. I was given some 2 years ago and my greens (and reds) did very well. I mulched with it neat as it was well rotted.  :)

oooh, good, we've just spread it on top for now, it will be hoed in before we plant into it, wonder if it has enough lime in(acidic soil), might have to do a soil test  :)

Chicken poo is pretty acidic. If you keep chickens on grass then you should lime it afterwards so i think your brassicas need it as well.
