I have mixed feelings about this, but one thing I do know, I would rather watch him, overpaid or not, than some cheap 'reality' tv rubbish.

Popstar to operastar etc.  Cheap tv at our expense.
There is less and less to watch, and I don't even turn on until 9pm at the earliest.

I can't stand the man and so pleased to hear he is going from the BBC.  Who will we get in his place?  Another highly paid so called enterntainer, it is obscene the amount of money folk like Ross was getting as well as Graham Norton.   I know my hand was on the Off switch when Wossy came on, both on the radio and TV.  I too am watching less and less telly these days, there is nothing worth watching.  I admit to being on Dave quite a bit and watch the Q1 re runs or Top Gear.   At least I find them entertaining, over and over again.
