What nice pressies did you get for Christmas?

Any disaster pressies??


I am so lucky as my family are very generous.I have had money,socks,smellies i pod and tunes voucher(got to get my dinosaur head round this one )and my fave a pair of ceramic wellies with flowers painted on for my plants.Books DVD'S and some lovely books.

The OH is in the dog house.  >:(

He presented me with a large ,heavy ,beautifully wrapped parcel.

He gave it to me with great ceremony.....ooh I was so excited. ;D


So much sellotape took me ages to open it,it was a metal topped something  ???

At this point OH jumped up and grabbed the box..............oh no..........oh no what.......give me me pressie back.........

It was a second hand DVD recorder he had ordered for himself of EBay for himself as his has packed up........he thought it was my super fantastic surprise pressie........... >:(

So I am now waiting for super pressie.   ??? ??? ???

He bought me a few CD,s and one book I liked...................the final pressie off him was opened and I kid you not......memories of Les Dawson

Now I no the rest of the familly thought my other half was going to be in trouble for buying the timber to make me 4 new raised beds for my chrisi pressi.  But the timber is 9 in deep by 2 in thick, 2 metres by 1 metre pressure treated.  And I'm as please as punch.  For some one who hates gardening, for him to go to that much trouble to source the timber and make them up tells me how much he cares. 2x 10 foot polly tunnels and a self locking prunning knife. Plus stocking fillers as well.   A man that actually listens such bliss. ;D ;D
All we need now is some dry weather.

Among other things like smelly stuff and furry slippers, I got her a 100 songs by Foster and Alan. I cannot stand the sentimental trash they perform so she got me a nice pair of ear plugs ;D

big, thick TOWELLING dressing gown(seem to be all fleece) and nice, fluffy boot slippers, lovely for after shower  ;D

hubby bought me an excellent stereo with ipod docking system, and 2 bon jovi cds, kids bought me a jon bon jovi calendar, (sensing a theme here???) i bought myself a bon jovi ticket for juneXX
also got a lovely pair of slippers and choccies etc and scarf hat and gloves for wearing when walking the dog

a new greenhouse opener cuz my old one packed up (I'v told him fitting it is part of the prezzie! and a braclet not sure why cuz I never wear them praps he thinks I would have worn one if I'd had one lol

I really didn't expect much as son John and dil had already bought and given me early my new printer, but I still got more presents from them. A very nice cardigan and a box of "smellies". My holiday to Spain earlier in the year was supposed to be my birthday and Christmas present from young Lorna but I still received 4 new CDs Susan Boyle, Dame Shirley Bassey, Whitney Houston and Barbara Streisand. Joshua bought me a Cottage Gardens Calendar. Alyson & co bought me DVD The Green Mile film and some more smellies. Grandson Craig bought me a box of soft truffle seashells out of his own money. Oh and on top of that John popped out and bought me new computer speakers on Christmas Eve as mine had packed up.

Of my hubby and kids i got a Dutch bike complete with wicker basket on the front  ;D i love it. Been down the lottie today was a lovely ride and even had a handy basket to pop all my bits in including my flask of coffee  ::).

Off family i had smellies, allotment month by month book, pj's, slippers, dressing gown, boots and a coat. So happy  :D

I got hubby a camera, REO speedwagon cd russel howard dvd and a Pink floyd canvas which has 6 naked ladies with album covers painted on their backs  ;D

The ball n chain got me  one a them woolly hats the ones with the tassels on that look like pigtails...do i look a wally in it, will only go out in dark with it on. :-[

After years of girlie gifts that went to oxfam my familiy gave me brilliant things thi year, a victoria plum (maiden) two coxes, a green gage and  three rowan two silver birch saplings

I finally bought my own house in december and i have a lovely big garden (tiny house giant plot) so its trees galore.
And my good gardening friend louise got me three blueberries.
and sweet pea seeds and copper labels as a table present.

brilliant! just need the ground to thaw now to get them all in and start the mega dig!
Happy christmas love the sound of a dutch bike sounds fab!
