When you say Worzel Gummage, do you mean the traditional ones stuffed with straw?  The nearest I got to one of those is this one a few years ago

I don't find the massive baby all that scary, the fact that the romper suit appears to be nearly adult size is more disturbing! ;)  But, if you really want to freak me out, you'd need to construct a clown...
