Found one (still useable) parsnip whilst redigging that patch.  Red Garnet Jerusalem Artichokes, a small picking of kale and PSB and rhubarb.  What on earth am I going to cook with that lot  ???

Fistly Hello! we are newbies although we cant find the correct place to introduce, we have taken over an allotment today and we wouldnt eat anything from there at the mo.....LOL weeds, plastic bags, lots of rubbish left behind. Cant wait to get started and look forward to collecting dinner from our allotment soon..... ;D
I guess the first thing would be to make it look like an allotment and get digging.....any help suggestions or advice greatly recieved!!!

Yippee my purple sprouting broccoli are ready to eat and delicious.
Just had that with butter and three of my lovely bantam eggs for tea.

Haven't eaten it yet, but dinner is on Gammon, Fortyfold potatoes (from store), leeks, cabbage, peas (from Freezer)...
probably some parsnips as well...  ;D

Rhubarb.   Zapped in microwave with apple juice and served with a lovely spoonful of Lidl low fat (2.7%) greek yoghurt.

Today radish,mustard and cress[actually from widow sill] rhubarb,and oven dried tomatoes and all sorts in the chutney. Tomorrw psb, aparagus,parsnips.Spring cabbage in poly ready to cut but must finish and clear kale first.

Pumpkin soup from the freezer with rhubarb in smoothie for lunch. 
Bottled some damson jam and made tomato ketchup to bottle later.

For tea we will be having bean bugers made with our borlotti beans, own spuds, sprouts, beans.
Preparing parsnips for more wine. ;D
