Stunted cucumbers

I sowed 6 marketmore in 2" modules on 12th April. They are only 4-5" high but have started flowering. Doesn't seem right to me? ???

It sounds as though they could be potbound. What size pot are they in?

As I said,2" modules!  ;D But they don't appear to be potbound. I have had a problem with sciarid flies- could that have anything to do with it? I'm going to put them into bigger pots tomorrow and see what happens.

My Carmen are doing very well with 5-6 cucumbers, 6" long on each.  My Marketmore appear to have twisted stems as opposed to stunted growth.
