Homemade Wig Wam cane Grips

Ok you may think I am mad but I had an idea last night........

I have been keeping my vitalite margarine tubs and lids for use as seed trays, the tubs were great but what shall I do with the lids?

I drilled 7 holes in the lid (less if you want) with a 16mm spade bit, inserted 7 canes and tied a piece of string around the top. Hey presto a homemade Wig Wam!

Will post pics when the weather improves, but you get the idea :)

Wot a jolly good idea. I actually purchased a 'device' (albeit from Wilco's) to do the same job. Incredible what you can come up with for nowt. ;D

Agree great idea.

I use my lids as drip trays under the tubs.
