Great job James.
I bet when the people look out the windows they are glad of all the work you have done, instead of looking at a tip.

Are the gates from the houses allowed to be there? you don't want the locals taking all your veg.

Neil

manicscousers

carlseawolf

A brillant start , and all ready for the season ahead
Ilfracombe , North Devon

caroline7758

looks great! Are you lucky enough to live in one of the houses right behind?

thifasmom

beautifully done and all ready for the new season

james1

The gates at the back of the houses they used to have plots on this site
but they are not allowed to come through that gate any more
because they gave it up.
and yes i cant wait to start filling my beds'.
the greenhouse that you can see was a freebie off another plot holder
no base or glass. so watch this space.
thank you all for your kind replys

Mrs Ava

Wow Jim you have worked hard!  Looking great.

saddad

Looks great... did you get rid of the "grass thing".... Carex pendula? If you did it will have seeded everywhere, if you didn't it will seed everywhere...  :-X

james1

Sadad i got rid as many roots that was visible
and by that i mean approx 9 bags taken to the council tip.
I no i didnt get every root it became a personal war. But am ready for world war 2.
also the reason am online so early because am falling asleep 9.00pm every evening lately...
must rest but cant stay away from the plot.  ;)

Robert_Brenchley

Why waste the roots on the tip when you could compost them and put the goodness back into the soil?

Kendy

Nice raised beds - very neat.  Do you mind I if ask how much they cost to make each ?

james1

kendy thankyou
£22.00 for the wood from beasley & fildes to make three beds

jim  :( :(

Jeanbean

Wow the plot looks really great. Well done! :). Your soil looks much better than the soil on our clayey plot. Good luck with the planting.
