Little darlings airn't they. 18 times they got me, must be a record for november. They were under an old shrub I was trimming and I stood there like a tw@t  'till  I realised what was happening.

That's it, no more work from me this week. I'm annoyed. and itching.

Nasty.............hope you feel better soon.

I have been badly bitten this week..............multiple bites on my lower back

The joys of gardening. :)

The last couple of years there have been reports of colonies overwintering in the south, so it's entirely possible to encounter them at this time of year in warmer regions.

You'd better move North Ace.  Might I suggest Brum, Lincoln or Leeds as being particuarly wasp free venues at this time of year ;D

What! move to the frozen wastelands of the north. I would rather be stung by a few wasps than be eaten by a polar bear ;D

Inapropriate dress as the cause of most of the stings. Shorts and tshirt, you know those things you lot wear for a couple of weeks in july. ;D
