I have been feeling off colour for a few weeks  :'( 
Did my greenhouse out yesterday afternoon and moved 4 80ltr bags of compost, came indoors and thought i was getting flu !! was sooooooo cold and could not get warm, felt sick ect.
Woke this morning after a painful night to find a huge rash on my tummy !!
Saw doctor and i have shingles !!!!
Im gutted  :'(
Its so painful and i feel so ill but i cant take to my bed with 5 students, 5 dogs, 70 guinea pigs and i work.
Need a hug  :'(
Sorry to moan but it helps to write it down, its right over my hystorectomy site !!

try not to do too much, a friend of ours had shingles and it made him very tired,
if you can leave it, leave it..can the students muck in?
our friend had to have 4 weeks off on the sick..take it easy, hugs from me, too  :-\

Oh, Flower , i am so very sorry you must feel rotten please take care and rest as much as you can, there must be someone to help you ask the students they are capable enough to look after themselves for a while.

Flower, you must rest and get yourself better.  Shingles is such a painful illness, and I really feel for you, I remember my OH having it. I am sure the students will understand and help out, it won't be too long.  As you say, no wonder you felt so rotten.  Look after yourself and take care, we are all thinking about you. ;)  Lots of hugs.

Take care. I had shingles years ago but fortunately very mild form. My husband had a really bad attack and he said how painful it was. Do try and rest, get some help from the students!! ( am sure they will be keen to help when they know what pain you are in
