clear jel lumps

Hi

I've just been to visit the allotment and have found lots of small lumps of clear jel lying on top of some recently spread compost that someone gave to us - so I don't know the source.  Does anyone have any idea what it is - or if its toxic etc - Hope not!

Thanks for that - lets hope they are - another plot holder thought it all seemed a bit Doctor Who'ish - glistening lumps suddenly appearing  and all that - bit of a  let down knowing its something far more mundane but at least I can rest easy now.  Should I just leave them be do you think.....

Aww heck, talk about a misunderstanding!  LOL   ;D  The thread on The Gallery I meant was 'spot the ringer' and of course I wasn't offended by your post.  I just hope Patsy wasn't offended by my little joke.
