I have 4 packets each of 20 + seeds from my two isolated plants. They should only be grown if they can be kept isolated from all other pepper plants and the resulting seeds offered next year so that a seed bank can be built up among swappers. This is because the seeds are not available commercially as they are protected. I was grateful for seeds given to me on another forum so I am happy to carry on the good work. So, first come first served! PM me if you are interested.

Mine have just arrived - thanks Tricia!  Really looking forward to growing these.  Will make sure they are completely isolated so more seed can be saved.

Mine arrived safely this morning,thankyou,

Anytime you are looking for something seed wise ask me and if I have them I will pass them on to you.

Could you tell us a little more about them and why they are protected.?

Helen - it's up to you, but from my own experience Peppadew seeds do not germinate easily and I would hate for you to end up with no plants next year!

How far apart do we sow them away from other pepper plants?

Thanks

You would have to grow them quite a long way apart. It's probably easier to isolate them by enclosing whole plants in e.g. a muslin cage or bagging the flowers before they open.

Thanks so much Tricia, these were great to grow and so prolific! No wonder these are trademarked!
I harvest a carrier bag full from 3 plants!

Wow biscombe they look great.

Mine didn't do so well. We had about 20 fruits from 4 plants. Guess it wasn' t hot enough here.
