Hi all,

Just walked through Woolies on my lunch break and they have all Mr Fothergills seeds at 60 per packet.

So for things like beans and peas, makes them rather cheap.

Cheers,

Chappy.

Got a fair few today, its all packets, even the ones with 6 smaller packets inside worth almost £4!!  They are all dated 2010 or later.  Thats next year sorted!!

Tulipa

Oooh, I forgot about Woollies today, got a fair few from Wilkinsons all half price and 2010 use by dates, will have to go again tomorrow... ;)

Thank you for reminding me. :)

yeah, they are good deals.

I 8 packs including a number of F1 Hybrids which have been prohibitively expensive before.

£2.50 down to 60p is much more like it.

Borlotti

Just of to my Woolworths to look at seeds.  Morrisons seeds are good and cheap.  Also got a Bramley apple tree from Morrisons which was good value and has now got apples on.
Homebase had a bucket of seeds last year and I just sorted through for the ones I wanted and they were very cheap.
Just of to the allotment and mustn't get delayed reading all the latest posts, lovely sunny day and my birthday.  I don't believe that I am 65 today.

Arumlily

Happy birthday Borlotti, hope you have a lovely day. Like yourself I bought a few seeds as well. I love a bargain.

Woolies must be in real trouble. 2 people asked me if I wanted help in a minute yesterday (unless I look like i'm in real trouble)

Hehehehe back to woolies to get more seeds as I planted quite a few of them yesterday.

Carrots x 2 plus autum king waiting to go in
Swede
Turnips (small cheffy type)
Beetroot
Mizuma
Spicy salad leaves
Webs lettuce
Little gem lettuce
Chicory
Raddish (red globe)
Spring onion

We are about a month behind most places so I should get away with the late planting of Scorn.  :)

our local only have flower seeds at 60p a pack might get a few cheaper than buying bedding to fill the gaps at home.
