I've started (only a few days ago) hardening off some plants, a mix of veg & flowers. Now it's pouring down and there's a forecast of very heavy rain on Tuesday. Should I carry on and make them face up to reality, or keep them tucked up inside until we get some gentler weather?

Personally I think it is not good to put them out in pouring rain. :)

For the gardener or the plants? ;D

I wish I had known the weather was going to change, I put mine out before the frosts had finished and had to run round every night with fleeces, doh.

But they are all big enough now to cope with the rain.....well they have no choice now. I have some convolvulus in the greenhouse which I am dodging putting out yet. Its hard to judge sometimes. Hopefully after this coming week we might see a glimmer of summer?
I was born with nothing and have most of it left.
