Hiya guys  :) Nick and I have had am allotment for a few years now, well this our 5th year! Thought we would join you guys on here as seem a great bunch.

We spent the day digging over today as weather dry for a change. We took our 2 boys down and they certainly earned their 'wage'!!

Nick built our 1st raised bed 3 years ago but he didn't line it with plastic so has had to replace rotten wood today. He has also built a smaller one for our lettuces and going to build a third one at the front where we got water logged last year in the floods. He has learned his lesson to line them  ;)

It's interesting what you guys grow as some things we haven't had success with. I've tried for the last 3 years to grow baby cauliflower but they always seem to get eaten before we have chance to pick them, so this year it was suggested I don't seed any!! lol

Anyways just wanted to say hi and off to read your posts now.
