Swindon:

Lovely yesterday, I even saw blue sky and the SUN!!!!

Today, overcast and spitting...but we might miss the worst of the downpours.

I did plant some very late sweetcorn a couple of days ago...and digging the holes was like shovelling mud!

I'm going to stay off the plot until it dries out a bit.

saddad

Heavy showers, interspersed with lighter showers...

Heavy rain woke me at 6 a.m. and it has continued for most of the day, apart from a brief respite this afternoon.  It looks as though tomorrow might be better though.

Rain all through the night, and all day until 4pm. It wasn't torrential as forecast, but the lottie flooded for the sixth time this year, worse than ever.. despite the digging of a new 150 gallon soakaway yesterday.

Think I will just leave it to the alligators, and come back next year.........
Why plant rows of 24 lettuces??

We've had 32mm of rain today, but this evening the sky cleared, I've just had a gorgeous walk down to the Derwent, water water everywhere.....but the beautiful clouds! And the reflections in the flooded road! And the whirl of the river, and the birdsong! I could get quite poetic......

somerset, our turn now. Rained heavily all night and will rain all day

Digeroo

Grey and dull not currently  raining

Fairford Airshow just up the road. Forecast for sunshine and showers.  Not convinced, there is a huge patch of rain heading towards us on the radar map.

Lost out on the lovely afternoon yesterday. Had to watch Murray at Wimbeldon. Bright this morning but the weather forecast for this area on BBC1 was a bit confusing. Will have to play it by ear, get over lottie and do what I can before the rain :-\

Digeroo

Rain still missing us just, sun trying its best.
