Surprisingly warm indoors this evening considering there's a slight chill out and our central heating motorised valve is stuck on hot water only.  ::)

Started dull and showery-a bit sad  after all the beautiful warm sunshine of late, but the gardens need the rain!  It did brighten up and the sun came up but it was much cooler than the last few days have been.  Apparently it's going to snow this week!

Just home from work car says  its 0.5 degrees outside and looking at all the frost on the cars i am not surprised. I gave a few people a lift home as they were caught out by the drop in temp and did not have warm enough clothes.

Off to bed now but looking out the window plants look like there ok :)

9^oC overnight in the unheated conservatory and, although sunny, it's no where near as warm as last week.  :(

Frost this morning enough to freeze over water butts on the plot, perfect blue sky now with plane vapor trails streaking across I wonder where there going jammy beggers! ;D

Cool and dull in Essex, my daughter lives in Inverness she e-mailed me, that its snowing there and oot came there winter clothes, no planting going on there for a while yet :(Brrrrrrrrrrrrr

its RAINING!!  this will do the spuds good and will save me going down to water the allotment, its not heavy rain just stady rain.
