I made up some compost last night in a bucket to pot on my chilli plants.
I used compost, pearlite, sand, blood & bone and chicken manure pellets.

I shouldn't have added the last ingredient 'cos the house was stinking this morning.

I'll have to use that mix for something else, as the plants will be indoors for a while.

So, don't do that.

Yes I spread chicken pellets with a dust mask on to try an reduce the smell. Pellets. seem to smell worse than chicken manure

I know I've said this before, and it's pervy, but I think the first whiff of chicken pellets smells of chocolate.   :P   ;D

When i was a kid there was a chap who had  duck's and geese in his garden and once i climbed over the fence and nicked a couple of egg's which tasted great so it became a regular occurrence  ;D ;D. One day i was over there and there was three eggs together great i thought easy pinching so in my pocket they went and over the fence i went. Well i got in the kitchen and put on the pan and cracked this egg open and OMG what a stink it was horrid i was sick straight away mom came running into the kitchen she was reching opened all the windows and the back door. That was when mom found out i had been nicking eggs i had to confess to the chap next door who laughed his head off as they were egg's that were haddled as they were being sat on. hence i never ever stole egg's again and as a punishment i had to clean his pens out for 6 months
