Don't know whether this site has been posted before but it's certainly handy for using the surplus veggies that I'm sure we all produce.

Yes, and for working out how much you need so you don't cook too much of things like rice and pasta.

I looked at the recipe for fish cakes , ?? 900 gms of fish makes 24 fish cakes??
When God blesses you with a multitude of seeds double  the blessing by sharing your  seeds with other folks.

if we know we cant resuse leftovers the next day or freeze a portion then we tend to invite one of our friends over if there on there own. (a couple of our friends work away during the week so leave wives & husbands behind).

Cant seem to cook less no matter how i try  ;)

Thanks for this Morton,  :) I have a leaflet somewhere but hadn`t got round
to looking at the website.

I have big problems keeping allotment food fresh after I bring it home.

I can store food on the plot for months but as soon as it arrives in my kitchen
it starts to go off. My flat is too small for another freezer (even if I could afford one) and I can`t get to the plot in the evenings after work so I usually bring home fresh veg on Sundays.

... I am warmed by winter sun and by the light in your eyes.
I am refreshed by the rain and the dew
And by thoughts of you...
